Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello and welcome to Living supernaturally. We are studying some scriptures today which have inspired some of the songs written by APC music. The song ‘Tera prem na badalta’ or the English version ‘shout for joy’ is inspired by Psalms chapter 100. Psalms chapter 100 is a joyful celebration of who God is and what He does and what He can do for us. The Psalmist, in Psalm chapter 100 exhorts us the believer to do four things. Firstly, he says, make a joyful shout to the Lord. Now people shout for various reasons, you might shout out of anger, you might shout out of frustration or because you're upset or to get someone's attention or maybe you're cheering someone on. But this is a different kind of shout, it is a joyful shout of triumph. So, you're declaring who God is and what He has done and how He has intervened and how He has set free and delivered us, it's a shout of triumph. As we truly know God, we are able to make the shout of triumph and this shout of triumph leads us to experience the truth of what we are declaring, the truth of what we are confessing and leads us to victory and break through. The second thing the psalmist says is to serve the Lord with gladness, now you can serve the Lord grudgingly, hesitatingly and with a lot of grumbling and complaining but he says, serve the Lord with gladness. The third thing he says is to come before His presence with singing with thanksgiving and with praises on our lips. The fact is that God is happy that you and I can come to His presence. He's just waiting for us to come to His presence and there are so many things that we can be thankful for and there are so many things that we can sing to Him and our heart sings truly when we are rejoicing, and we can go before Him with praise on our lips. And fourthly, the psalmist also says, know that He is God, understand, acknowledge that He is God our creator and that we are His people. The reason he asks us or exhorts us to make these declarations, or these four things is because one, the Lord is good, He is good all the time, He will not do us harm, He will not do us any wrong. So, He is good. Secondly, His mercy never changes, its everlasting or it is translated as His love endures forever, His love endures forever, it never changes, whether we are up or whether we are down or whether we are unfaithful, His love never changes, it's forever. The third reason is that His truth, who He is, the truth endures for all generations. Now, if you've heard the bridge section of the song, it is a powerful declaration of who God is, just listen to this, the bridge section declares, that He is the prince of peace, the King of Kings, He is the alpha and omega, the lamb of God, the Lion of Judah, our maker, our savior, our Lord, our Father, our provider, our restorer, our healer, our deliverer, our redeemer, our strong tower, He is the mountain mover, the bondage breaker, the promise keeper, the miracle maker, the wonder worker, the death defier and His love is forever. So, this is our declaration, let this be your joyful shout of triumph. So, shout for joy, Lord, your love is forever, Anand se chillaye prabhu tera prem na badalta.
