Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Shalom and thank you for joining us for our series on Living Supernaturally, where we are having a biblical perspective about work. One of the perspectives we can deduct about the way we work is through our work, how we serve others, how do we bring about service to others. The way we approach our work each day and everyday matters. Think about maybe some interactions that you have with people that you work with or people that you study with, it maybe your colleague, the way that they observe you, the way that you greet or address them is something that you do to serve them or the work that you produce maybe for a project, a client or somebody else, whatever you do impacts others. Galatians chapter 5, verse 13 says, ‘For you have been called to live in freedom- not freedom to satisfy your sinful nature, but freedom to serve one another in love.’ Through our work, let’s consider how are we being of service to others. Let’s take a few examples, sometimes, someone who is working with you has to process the way maybe you say something to them or the way you write an email to them. Maybe someone has to base some kind of decisions on the work that you do, maybe co workers have to decide to what extent they can trust and rely on you, especially when they need support. Or we see that your commitment to getting work done really impacts another’ ability or maybe a deadline or a project that you are completing. The people you work with are watching you on a day-to-day basis and they respond to all of the challenging situations by gauging how you will respond. Whether you are aware or not, the way you approach these challenges at work, influences people around you. Are you serving others at work or are you focused on looking at your own needs? Unless we are intentional about serving others, we maybe too easily influenced by the stress and the negativity that maybe around us. Jesus taught us a different way; He taught us to think of ourselves less and others more. Jesus came to serve us, to pay the price for our sins and to teach us how to live and to work. So, let us be intentional about allowing the love of Christ to shine through us even in our market places and even in the world than how we do now. Let’s encourage and support those around us this week by putting in that extra effort to serve them. It may just make a whole world of difference for them. As we go to work later today, let’s look at it with the aspect of serving others through the way we behave and work. Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, we pray that you will empower us to be good, right witnesses as we work in our places, that we will be strong examples to those who work with us. May we serve one another, may we be wiling to lay down things for others even as we work alongside with them. May we reflect your love and goodness, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
