Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Welcome to Living Supernaturally. We are very glad that you could be here even as we together study the word of God in order to apply it and to experience the power of the truth of God’s word in our lives, to live a life that is supernatural. We are looking at Romans chapter 12 and some of the instructions written by Paul to the believer and these are somethings that we can call the ‘to-do’ list of the believer and today, this can be part of your ‘to-do list. We are looking at Romans chapter 12 and verse 12, the first part, ‘rejoicing in hope;’ while he has written on a whole lot of things that we should do, rejoicing in hope. In other words, he is saying, you rejoice in hope. Romans chapter 15, verse 13 has this to say, it says, ‘Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.’ God’s desire for us is that we be filled with hope because He is the God of hope. He wants to fill us so that we can abound in hope, that we can be people who can abound in hope, in very situation where there seems to be an abundance of hopelessness, the Lord calls us to abound in hope. In our own lives, we are called to abound in hope. Can this be a reality? Can this be a consistent thing in our lives? I believe it is so, because scriptures declare it is possible because the God of hope when He fills us, He fills us with joy and peace. This is the key, it says, may He fill you with joy and peace in believing. That is the thing, when we believe that He is the God of hope and the Lord can and will fill me today with joy and peace, we will abound in hope. The last part of the verse says that by the power of the Holy Spirit. This is not something that I psych myself or that I talk myself into, that I just tell myself, it’s not a self-help thing but it requires the power, inspiration and empowering of the Holy Spirit. It is so beautiful that the God of hope causes the hope that He has to be in us that we will rejoice that we might be filled with joy and peace and it causes us to abound in hope. This hope overflows and touches others lives. God’s will is this, that we will dispensers of hope in every place, that we will be ready, 1 Peter chapter 3, verse 15, that we will be ready to give an explanation/ defense to everyone who asks us for the reason/ hope that is in us. When we abound in hope, people will ask, what is the reason for that hope. They will be curious, there seems to be hopelessness all around but why are you filled with hope? And that is a moment to testify about the God of hope who fills us with hope. Shall we pray, Father, we thank you for the hope that we have in you. We thank you that your will and desire is that we be filled with joy and peace in believing that we might abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. We ask and pray that ay it be so in our lives today, as we face challenging, hopeless situations and environments, may we be dispensers of hope in that very hopelessness. We thank you for this possible in your name, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
