Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Redemption (Daily Devotional)

by Ps Ashish Raichur

Greetings! and thank you for the opportunity to come to you today, another day and just to remind you of the word of God and take a moment to pray with you. As we reflect on the provisions of the cross this week and just remind ourselves of what Jesus provided for us through His death on the cross, He went there on our behalf as our substitute, He went there to present His body as an offering for our sin, to pay for everything, sin, and the consequences of sin. Today, I want to remind us that through the cross, Jesus has redeemed us. The bible tells us, in Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. We have redemption through His blood, we have redemption through what He did for us on the cross. What is redemption? To put it in a very simple way, redemption is to set a captive free to the payment of a ransom and to restore that captive to their original state. So, the whole idea is of somebody being held by another power that is stronger, more powerful, but somebody comes and pays a ransom, purchases the freedom of this captive, sets the captive free and restores this captive to their original state. Jesus offered Himself as that ransom, He presented His blood before God, the blood that purchased our freedom and so we have been set free from everything that held us captive, this includes the dominion of sin and satan, the ways of this world, all of these things that held us captive, we have been redeemed, it's a complete redemption, not a partial redemption. We are redeemed from everything that held us captive. Everything that Adam put us as slaves to, Jesus redeemed us from through the offering of Himself as the ransom. You and I can say we are redeemed; we are redeemed from sin from the dominion of sin, we're redeemed from this lawless, wicked ways, we are redeemed from this world, we are redeemed from the hold of satan over our lives, we are redeemed from the curse of the law that was on our lives, we are redeemed from all of that. And not only are we restored and put back in a place where we can say we are free, but Jesus elevated us to a place where we can say we are sons and daughters of God. Redemption also means that now we are the purchased possession of God, we are God's property and satan has no more claim over us, no more access into our lives. We have been taken out of darkness have been brought into the kingdom of his own dear Son. You are redeemed, you are Gods purchased possession, Jesus offered Himself for your redemption. The bible says, let the redeemed of the Lord say so, you and I must affirm the fact that we have been redeemed. Let's do that as we pray, Father, we thank you, we acknowledge that we are the redeemed of the Lord and we say so. We declare the power of sin over our lives broken. We declare the power and influence of this age broken. We declare the power of every sinful deed broken. We declare satan's hold over our lives broken. We declare that we are God's purchased possession, we are God's property, the redeemed of the Lord, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
