Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Redeemed (Daily Devotional)

by Ps Nancy Ramya

Hello everyone, such a joy to meditate in God’s word and we are on the theme of healing. We talked about the fact that because of the great exchange that Jesus has accomplished, you and I can walk in divine health. We also saw that Jesus has conquered on the cross of Calvary and satan is defeated and thereby, we can receive our healing and walk in it. Today, I want to remind us that we are redeemed. When we study about this word redeemed, we understand that redeemed was used in circumstances when a slave was set free by the payment of a price known as a ransom. When we consider the work of Jesus, we know that He became our redemption lamb, that atonement lamb for us. We were the ones who needed to be punished, afflicted in every sense because of sin here in the world, but God sent His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus in our place, He took our punishment, every affliction that was due to us so that we could be set free. In this manner, God has accomplished a redemption for us. We, who believe in the Lord Jesus, scriptures tell us that now we are redeemed. Once someone was redeemed or a slave was redeemed, the slave would now belong to another master and everything that the slave had would belong to that other master. So, similarly, we as believers, now belong to the kingdom of light and of our Lord Jesus Christ. Now, that we belong the Lord Jesus, everything that we have and are belongs to Him. In 1 Corinthains chapter 6, verses 19 and 20, Paul wrote these lines, he said, ‘Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.’ He was reminding God’s people that they were purchased and now they belonged to a different master who is the Lord Jesus. He was also reminding the believers that they now are the host or their bodies are the host to the presence of the Holy spirit and that is the privilege we have. As children of God, we are now part of God’s kingdom; we belong to Him and everything that we have belongs to God and our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Having said these things, it is very clear that satan has no legal right over a believer, their body, soul or their possessions; everything is redeemed through the work of the cross. I just want to encourage us that we must stand against every demonic assignment/ work and refuse what the enemy wants to put on us and we can make this declaration that we now belong to Jesus and we are redeemed and part of the kingdom of our Lord Jesus and thereby sickness has no place in our body. Even as we stand firm believing the Lord and making this declaration, I believe that healing will begin to manifest. Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you that you have purchased us and delivered us from the clutches of satan. We are redeemed and we pray that it is your victory that will be seen in us and in our health, we give you thanks, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
