Greetings and thank you so much for journeying with us throughout this week, where we've been meditating and reflecting on the healing scriptures. And today, as we close this week, I want to remind us what the Lord Jesus taught us. He said, "Your faith can make you whole." Think about many instances in the gospels, where people came to the Lord Jesus and as the Lord Jesus ministered to them, He simply pointed out that their faith is what is receiving the healing. Think about this woman with the issue of blood in Matthew chapter 8. I will read this in verses 20 to 22, ‘And suddenly a woman who had a flow of blood for 12 years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. For she said to herself, "If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well." But Jesus turned around and when He saw her, he said, "Be of good cheer, daughter. Your faith has made you well." And the woman was made well from that hour.’ Think about this woman, 12 years she spent her money on lots of doctors and tried to get help, she wasn't helped. Finally, she heard about Jesus and she does one simple act of faith. She just comes and touches the edge of His garment and she says, "If I touch the edge of His garment, I will be healed." And instantly, what plagued her for 12 long years and cost her so much of money, instantly she was made well. When Jesus looked at her, what did He tell her? Those words are so powerful and those words are timeless. He told her, "Your faith has made you well. Be of good cheer, be cheerful, be happy. Your faith has made you well." What would Jesus tell you and me today? He would tell us the same thing. "Your faith has made you well." So, we must remind ourselves that our faith in God is the conduit, it's the channel through which the healing of God is enforced into our bodies and our minds. By faith, we receive. So, hold on to Him, strong in faith, keep your faith strong and active and with your faith, you keep declaring just like this woman did. She said, "If I touch His garment, I will be whole." You say, "By His stripes, I've been healed. His word is healing to my whole body. The Spirit of God in me gives life to every cell in my body. My body is a purchased possession. It has no place for sickness. The Lord is my healer and His benefits are healing to my whole being." You say that just like this woman said, "If I touch, I'll be well." You declare what the word of God says. And you know what Jesus is going to tell you and me? He's going to say, "Your faith has made you well and your faith can keep you well.” So, not only do we receive healing by faith, but we stay healed through faith. Our faith makes us well; our faith keeps us well. God is our healer, but faith is the hand that receives it and keeps it. So, your faith in God is so important. Don't lose it, just stay with it. Let's pray, Father, we thank you that through faith, we can touch and we can receive and faith is simply believing your word. We believe and receive and we thank you for health, healing and wholeness in our bodies and our minds, in Jesus' name, Amen.
