Hello and thank you for the opportunity to come to you this week and spend some time in God's word. Starting today, this week, we're going to revisit a very familiar topic on receiving our healing, just revisiting some scriptures that we need to hear. This week, we are specially speaking and praying for people who may need healing in their bodies, their minds, their emotions and we are going to spend some time in the word of God and also pray. So, even as you listen this whole week, may your faith to receive healing be built up. Whether you need healing personally for yourself or if you know people who are believing God for healing in their bodies, their minds, their emotions, encourage them to tune in this week and follow with us each day as we look in the scriptures on divine healing. Today, we want to bring our attention to the fact that the Lord Himself, the Lord is our healer. There are two scriptures we will go to in Exodus chapter 15 and verse 26, where God is speaking to His people in the old covenant and He says, "If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in his sight, give ear to his commandments, keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which are brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord who heals you." And so, this is where God unveils one of His many covenant names. He says, "I am the Lord who heals you, I am Jehovah Rapha. We'll also read Exodus chapter 23, verses 25 and 26 where Moses speaking to God's people says, "You will serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land. I will fulfill the number of your days." So, in both of these scriptural texts in Exodus chapter 15, verse 26, and Exodus chapter 23, verses 25 and 26, Moses is reminding or speaking to God's people who God will be to them. He says, "Look, God is going to be the Lord- Jehovah Rapha, the Lord your physician." And as the Lord your physician, He's going to bless the food you eat, He's going to remove sickness from you, He's going to bless you in your childbearing, and He's going to bless you with long life. These are the blessings that are coming from Jehovah Rapha, the Lord our healer. So, how does this shape of our faith? First of all, we recognize that it is God's nature to heal. Our God is a God who heals and this is His nature. So, God will never say or do anything that contradicts His own nature. If this is who He is, then those are the things he's going to say and those are the things He's going to do. So, we can rest assured that God wants us well. God wants us healed because that's His nature, that's who He is. He is the one who heals us, who gives us wholeness in all aspects of our life. And so, we can go to Him with confidence and say, "Lord, I know you are my healer, I know you are able to heal me and I know you're willing to heal me. Because He said, "I am the Lord who heals you." So, we're going to take a few moments to pray together based on what we've heard and say, "Lord, you said you will take sickness away from our midst. You said you are the Lord my healer. You said you would bless me with a long life. And so, Lord, by faith, I receive it." Let's pray together, Father, we thank you for revealing who you are to us. You are the Lord our healer. And so, Father, in Jesus' name, we come to you and we receive the healing that comes from you for our bodies and our minds, for every organ in our body, every system in our body and every part of our minds, our emotions. Let them be made whole because you are the Lord our healer, in Jesus' name, Amen.
