Shalom and thank you for joining us once again for a fresh day where we look into God's word. Through the last couple of days, we have been focusing on the timing, God's perfect timing. There may be times or moments in our life that we find ourselves in waiting for answers, waiting for breakthroughs, waiting for dreams to be fulfilled and it's very easy for us to despair, to fret, to grow weary, to be disappointed. Yet, the apostle Paul gives us a reminder in Galatians chapter 6, verse 9 and it reads, ‘and let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.’ This verse speaks directly to the challenge of waiting patiently for the timing of God. It calls to perseverance, to continue doing good even when we don't see those immediate results or when the waiting is truly prolonged. But in this promise, in this exhortation is a specific promise, a promise of harvest, a promise of blessing, of fulfillment that awaits its proper time. I'd like you to consider the imagery of a farmer who is diligently tending to his crops, he sows the seeds, waters the soil and patiently waits for the harvest to come. He doesn't see immediate results but he trusts in the process of growth and fruition. In the same way, as you and I wait for God's timing, we are called to trust that the promise of a blessing is something that we will see. So, what does it mean to not become weary in doing good? It means to be faithful and to be obedient to God's will, even when the waiting seems long and hardest. It is continuing to love sacrificially, to serve others, to pursue righteousness even when we are tempted to give up. Why do we have the confidence that at the proper time we will reap a harvest? It's only because the God who promised is faithful, He is perfect, His timing is perfect, His promises are sure. He sees the seeds of faithfulness that we sow in the waiting and He is at work behind the scenes. As we navigate the seasons of our lives, let us look into what we read today in Galatians chapter 6, verse 9, not grow weary in doing good but continue to trust God's timing and look and await the promise of harvest, the promise of His blessing. May this sustain us and encourage us as we wait patiently. Let's pray together, thank you Heavenly Father that you have promised a blessing for us who wait. In our waiting, may we not stay passive but may we continuously be active in doing what you've called us to do, loving others, patiently serving you, doing all that is required for your kingdom, thank you that the promise of a blessing will be ours, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
