Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings! and thank you for this opportunity to come to you and spend this time with you in the word of God and prayer. This week, we have been considering looking at the resurrection power that's available to us, as believers and just opening our understanding as Paul prayed, in Ephesians chapter one, that the eyes of their understanding will be opened, would be enlightened to know the exceeding greatness of His power towards us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and made Him sit at His own right hand. Paul is saying, I want you to know the resurrection power available to us. So, we are looking at scripture to understand this resurrection power, how it works in us, for us and through us. I want to remind us today that this resurrection power is actually the power of the Holy Spirit because the Bible makes it very clear to us that it was the Spirit of God that raised Jesus from the dead or as Romans chapter 6, verse 3 says it was the glory of the Father, the Spirit of God, raised Jesus up from the dead. What we know in the New Testament is that we receive power, Acts chapter one and verse eight, we receive power to be witnesses for Jesus to the uttermost parts of the earth because the Holy Spirit has come upon us. So that means Holy Spirit empowers us with the resurrection power to be witnesses and as you trace through the book of Acts, it says for instance in Acts chapter 2, verse 43 it says with great power, the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of Jesus. So, when you and I are called to be witnesses with power, Acts chapter 1, verse 8, its power to demonstrate, its power to see the miracles, the healings, the deliverances that come through demonstration. So, the resurrection power is power to demonstrate and through the demonstration of power we bear witness to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. And so, each one of us as believers must understand the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit has been made available to us so that we can demonstrate, and we thus bear witness to the reality of Jesus Christ. We can demonstrate that power through healings miracles, deliverances, the gifts of the Spirit and that should be active in the life of every child of God, every believer, so that the resurrection power that Paul referred to in Ephesians chapter one is released, is demonstrated through miracles, healings and deliverances, signs and wonders through every child of God, and that is how we bear witness to who Jesus Christ is. So, remember the resurrection power is available to you by His Holy Spirit for you to be a witness for Jesus Christ by demonstrating healings, miracles, deliverances. God is waiting to work it through you so that you can demonstrate and be a witness, Let's pray, Lord, we ask that you enable each of us to make ourselves available for resurrection power to be demonstrated through us, in healings miracles and deliverances, so that people will know that Jesus Christ is alive and real, let resurrection power be demonstrated through us, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
