Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Our Victory (Daily Devotional)

by Ps Jeyakumar Isaiah

Hello and welcome to Living Supernaturally, we are so glad that you could be here on the daily devotion of All People’s church. In today’s devotion, we are studying all the good things we have received or we have become because who we are in Christ Jesus. There is one thing we need to do and that is to acknowledge the good things. Philemon verse 6 says this, ‘that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.’ We want the sharing of our faith to be effective through our words, the lives that we live, the choices that we make, we want that to be effective. How does that become effective? First of all, when we acknowledge every good thing that we have in us, in Christ Jesus. The fact is that some of us could be ignorant, we could be in a place of ignorance saying I don’t know what I have. Well, scripture points out and shines light saying this is what you have become, this is what you have, this is your possessions in Jesus. 2 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 14 says, ‘Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.’ In Christ Jesus, we have the promise of being led in triumph. So, today, we are acknowledging our victory, the victory that we have in Christ. Why does He lead us in victory in Christ Jesus? Because Christ can diffuse the fragrance of His knowledge through us in every place, the fragrance of His ways, of the promise, of the changed life and transformation and destiny that we have in Christ. The Lord wants to share that aroma through us to the world outside. The thing is that He leads us in triumph which means we are called to follow. He leads us in triumph, all that we are called to do is follow because that is our position in Christ Jesus. In the following, He is making us to be dispensers of the fragrance, of the aroma of the knowledge of Christ in every place. In 1 John chapter 5, verse 4, this is what we read, ‘For whatever is born of God overcomes the world.’ You and I are born of God if we have put our faith in Jesus, if we have received Him as Lord and Savior. Scripture declares that whatever is born of God overcomes the world and this is the victory that has overcomes the world- our faith. So, we are led in triumph in Christ Jesus and even as we are born of God, we are victorious, we have the victory, we are overcomers in this world. What do we overcome? We overcome satan, we overcome the pull of the world, the lust of the eyes, the lust of flesh, the pride of life and we are overcomers of every situation. So today, as we know this truth, let us acknowledge, recognize and accept this truth. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you that we are overcomers. We thank you that in you, we are led in triumph. We thank you that we are victorious, we are victorious when we face overcoming situations and the works of the enemy, we are victorious in all of life’s challenges and from that place of victory, help us to walk in continued victory even as you lead us in triumph in Jesus, in Christ’s most precious name we pray, Amen.
