Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Welcome to Living Supernaturally, we are so glad that you could be here today on this daily devotion of All People’s church. Today, we are going to look at something which is very practical and necessary for us, that we would acknowledge what we have become in Christ Jesus. In the book of Philemon in verse 6, this is how it reads, ‘that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.’ Sometimes, the negatives are what are apparent, the negatives about us, our limitations are something that is so in front of us but scripture says you acknowledge, go ahead and recognize and accept every good thing that you have and for that, we need to look into the word and see what are these good things that we have in Christ Jesus because of what He did for us on the cross. Today, we are going to look at the fact that we are redeemed, our redemption is a good thing that we need to acknowledge, accept and walk in. First of all, scripture says that we have been redeemed, brought back, taken from that place where we have fallen and released into a higher place, that is what redemption is, that we have been redeemed from the dominion of darkness. Colossians chapter 1, verses 13 and 14, ‘He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.’ We have been redeemed, bought back, brought out from the power of darkness. Not only that, we have been conveyed into the kingdom of the Son of God. We have been brought out, purchased out from the kingdom of darkness. So, the kingdom of darkness doesn’t have any hold on us, any influence on us that we can give into, it doesn’t hold us as prisoners or slaves because we have been taken out of that and we have been conveyed into another kingdom, the kingdom of the Lord Jesus. This is something that we have been redeemed from, the dominion of darkness. Scriptures also declare that we have been redeemed form the curse of the law. Galatians chapter 3, verses 13 and 14, ‘Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”).’ Why did He do that? Verse 14 says, ‘that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.’ We have been redeemed from the curse of the law. Every curse/ negative thing that you can think of because of our disobedience to the holy law of God, every curse that we have brought upon ourselves, every curse that people speak over us, we have been redeemed from it and we have been released into the blessing of Abraham. Deuteronomy chapter 28, talks about the blessings and curses and every curse, we have been redeemed from. Today, let’s acknowledge that and accept that truth so that the living of our lives may become effective. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you that we have been redeemed from the curse of the law. We thank you that we have been redeemed from the dominion of darkness. Even as we recognize and accept and admit this truth, we pray that the living of our life, the communication of the faith might become effective through Christ Jesus for your glory. We commit ourselves into your mighty hands, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
