Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings! and thank you so much for being with us through this whole week, where we've been reviewing the word of the Lord for 2022, go take your mountain, conquer your giants, and occupy your inheritance. And we've been looking at this passage in Joshua chapter 14 verses six through 15 and we've been tracing the steps that Caleb took in order to go in and take the mountain that God said would be his. And after Caleb had spoken to Joshua saying, you know that God had spoken to me, that mountain is fine, I'm well able to go, I'm as strong today as I was then and I'm able to drive out the giants; Joshua turns around and then the Bible puts it very simply in Joshua chapter 14, verse 13, ‘And Joshua gave to Caleb as his inheritance Mount Hebron.’ Now it's a very simple statement, but there's a lot behind it because it wasn't like Joshua just handed it off to him in a platter. No! What it means is Joshua said, yes Caleb, go take it. Caleb had to go in and occupy that mountain, he had to obviously drive out the giants and had to step in and take that mountain that God said would be his. That's another action, go occupy your inheritance, that mean step into what God said will be yours. Did God put in your heart, you're going to start a business and God put in your heart that you're going to rise up professionally? Did God put in your heart that you're going to do something? What did God put in your heart? What is your mountain that He wants you to take? You need to step in, you need to go in, you position yourself on or in that place for you to occupy. So, this year, take these action steps and I'm going to review the seven steps we saw that Caleb took, number one- know the word, number two- speak your faith, number three- rise above unbelief, number four- wholly follow God, number five- keep yourself strong, number six- conquer/ face your giants, number seven - occupy your inheritance, go take your territory. Let's pray, Father, we ask that this year, as we prepare to go take our mountain, that we will step into the territory you assigned for our lives. Orchestrate things, open doors, direct our paths, make the way that we can step into the territory assigned for our lives. We thank you Father, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
