Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hi everyone, welcome to Living Supernaturally, it is such a joy to come together, spend a few moments in God’s word and pray together. This week, we are talking about repentance. Revelation chapter 3, verses 3 through 6, ‘Remember therefore what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not spoiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the Book of Life; but will acknowledge that name before My Father and His angels. “Whoever who has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’ Each one of us know that as believers we must renew our commitment and love to Jesus Christ. How do we do that? Revelation chapter 3, verse 3 puts it plainly. We are to hold on to the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is crucial because the Lord Jesus can come for us at any time. This is a call to obedience, to follow God’s direction for living and to honor God above all things. The word ‘honor’ in the bible means to give weight to. So, this means considering God’s commands greater or higher or the weightiest in our lives. Now, to obey is more difficult than it sounds. Though we may obey God with our words, our behavior may dishonor God. In scripture, repentance is more than just being sorry, it is a complete turnaround, a complete change and sometimes, we often find it easier to rationalize wrong behavior than to be genuinely sorry for it. As we worship God, we will find that God meets us in our place of sincerity. Israel disobeyed God, they broke the covenant and so it was therefore uprooted and exiled into Babylon. However, this is not the final chapter in God’s relationship with His people. Despite knowing that they will fall into apostasy, God keeps the file on Israel open. He calls them to repent, to turn to the Lord with all your heart, with all your mind, with all your strength, that is what whole hearted obedience does. Whole hearted repentance will lead to whole hearted obedience. God patiently holds out His hand and invited us to repent and return to Him. He enables us to repent, to obey and to love Him with all our hearts. There is hope for us because of His divine grace and His divine mercy upon our lives. Let us pray, Father, we thank you, for what you have done for us. We thank you for the cross, that no matter how far we are, we can come to the cross and find forgiveness, find repentance and you are a God who loves us, who will forgive us and restore us back. We pray that each one of us, no matter where we are in our journey, in our walk with you, that we will always look to you, turning back to obey your word, to obey your commandments and live for your glory, we thank you, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
