Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings and thank you so much for the opportunity to come to you today and spend a few moments in God’s word and prayer. This week, we are talking about the rapture of the church and we are looking at different passages that affirm to us that the rapture of the church will indeed take place, the church will be taken out of the way to bring to an end the church age as we refer to it and then begins the 7 years of tribulation that Daniel wrote about which is referred to as Daniel’s 70th week or the time of Jacob’s trouble. The church is taken out of the way. One more piece of evidence to show us that the rapture of the church will take place before the 7 years of tribulation. In Mathew chapter 24, as Jesus was giving His disciples insight/ signs about the end times, He mentions this in verses 36 to 42, ‘But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.’ This typology used from the Old Testament, Jesus pointing to something in the Old Testament to illustrate to us how these events will come together. He says, as Noah stepped into the ark, taken out into a place of safety and then judgement was poured out on the earth, He says, that is how things are going to wrap up in the end. This is a great picture of the church, being taken out into a place of safety, while judgement is being poured out on the earth for those 7 years and then once that is over, as Noah came out of the ark, back on earth, the church will be brought back with Christ (Revelation chapter 20) to establish His kingdom, rule and reign on the earth (Daniel chapter 7). So, this is a perfect picture/ illustration of the rapture of the church, the church taken out of the way and judgement poured out on the earth. When that is over, we come back on the earth to rule and reign to establish the purposes of God on the earth. We ae looking forward for that moment when the rapture of the church takes place and God brings everything, the church age and things to a close shortly thereafter. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you for all that you’ve planned and all that you have revealed to us so we can prepare ourselves, realize, recognize the signs of the times, keep busy doing the Father’s will and be ready for the coming of our Lord, help us to do that, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
