Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

No Chance (Daily Devotional)

Greetings and thank you for the opportunity to come to you today and spend these few moments with you. This week, we are talking about overcoming pornography and just sharing a few insights from the word of God that will help us be free and build us up because the truth of God’s word will demolish and expose any unclean spirits that are controlling us and bring complete deliverance by the power of His Holy Spirit. A very important thing the bible teaches us, I’m going to reference two verses, Romans chapter 13, verse 14, the bible says, ‘make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.’ Or to put it in simple language, don't give your flesh any opportunity. Jesus put it like this in Matthew chapter 5, verses 27 to30, ‘He said, if your right eye cause you to sin take it off, if your right hand causes you to sin cut it off.’ In other words, anything that is causing you to do something wrong, you deal with it with a sense of seriousness, you got to amputate, cut it out of your life. Now, when we talk about pornography usually there are certain things, maybe routines or habits or even things that we use which then become, which then give the opportunity to the flesh to indulge in pornography. For example, if there's a certain time of day or night when you are alone and that's when you normally engage in pornography; so, what does that mean? It means you've given yourself that provision and the Bible says make no provision for the flesh. Are we using your laptop or some device on which you watch these things? That device is now a provision in your life and you've got to stop that, I'm not saying we never use our laptop for work, of course but you've got to make sure that you don't let that enter into your life and take you down the wrong path. So, make no provision for the flesh. So, you need to think about how you can change your routine, change your schedule, change where you are working on your laptop so that you're not giving yourself the opportunity to go down that path of indulging in pornography. Deal with these things with severity, pluck it out, cut it off is what Jesus said. So, look at what's going on in your life and give yourself no chance, no opportunity to be exposed to going down that path where you indulge in pornography. Rework your schedule, rework where you work and how you engage with the devices so that you protect yourself, take that step. Let's pray, Father, we thank you for the truth of your word and right now, I pray for those who been listening this week and I declare in the name of Jesus, that by the power of your word and by the power of your Spirit, every yoke of pornography over their lives be broken and in the name of Jesus, I expel every unclean spirit, every spirit that has been controlling their sexual appetites, their minds, their emotions, in the name of Jesus, I command you to leave and Lord by your Spirit let them be 100% permanently free and help them to make the changes they need to make, so that they make no provision for the flesh, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
