Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings and thank you for joining us today in our time in God’s word and in prayer. This week, we have been talking about how to test personal prophecy and prophetic words. We will add to our test, the next test we want to ask ourselves is this, are there two or three witnesses to this personal prophecy? There is an instruction given in the Old Testament which is repeated in the New Testament. The apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians chapter 13, verse 1, he quotes from Deuteronomy chapter 19, verse 15 about the things he has been sharing with the Corinthians. He says this is the third time I’m coming to you and then he says, ‘By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.’ God had given that in the Old Testament as an instruction to verify and validate what is right and true. The apostle Paul is using it in the generic sense here in Corinthians. We can apply that also to our test of personal prophecy and prophetic words. Are there two or three witnesses to this prophetic word, that means has God spoken concerning that matter in two, three or more ways to you? So, one of course, is the witness of the Holy Spirit within your spirit, that is a very important witness. Second could be another prophecy, another dream or maybe prophecy from two or three other people concerning the same matter, people of course, who have not met/ spoken to each other and are not aware of what has already been spoken to you. So, if there are two or three or more witnesses on that same matter concerning your life, then you can surely pay close attention to that word and you need to. Especially when very important things in life, big decision you are about to make, make sure there are at least two or three witness to that word/ personal prophecy given to you. And the mouth of two or three witnesses, let every word be established. All these witnesses don’t have to be a prophetic word, one could be a prophetic word, one could be an inner witness in your spirit, another could be a dream that you had or it could be God opening up a certain door which comes to you as a clear witness that God wants you to move in that direction, it could be, but at least two or three witnesses to that word and then you move in line with that word. Ask God, confirm to at least two or three witness any word that you feel He is speaking to you now. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you, that you teach and instruct us and may we hear the voice of your Holy Spirit behind us or within us saying, ‘this is the way, walk in it.’ May our ears be opened to listen to our Teacher, the Holy Spirit, thank you, Father, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
