Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello everyone, thank you that you are on this journey with me, talking about intimacy, understanding intimacy with God. We’ve seen how because of Jesus, we can go deeper in our relationship with God, we can go deeper in the presence of God. Today, I want to talk about the invitation that God has given us to fellowship with the Godhead. We know that the Godhead is three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, but they are one and this is an amazing mystery. The word of God teaches us that God wants us to fellowship with the Godhead- the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and our fellowship is not just with human beings here on earth but God invites us to enjoy our relationship and our fellowship. Relationship, fellowship as we look at the biblical meaning is partnership with God and it is also sharing our hearts, our thoughts, walking together and God is inviting to be a part of all this. 1 John chapter 1, verse 3, it says, ‘that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.’ God enjoys fellowshipping with us. Here the believers, as apostle John writes, they had fellowship not just with one another but he says, truly our fellowship is with the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. So, there is a horizontal relating with human beings but there is also this vertical connect that every believer has directly with God and what a privilege! We don’t have to worry about anything intercepting that and anyone interfering, we can directly connect with the Father and the Son, Jesus Christ. How do we fellowship? We can fellowship with God through prayer, through reading of His word, by understanding what God is speaking to us, by responding to God with our lives, not just through our words, but even our actions. So, the way we live is also communion and fellowship with God. Let’s continue on here, we will look at this passage form 2 Corinthians chapter 13, verse 14, it says, ‘The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.’ So, we can also fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit lives on the inside of every believer. We can continue to speak with Him. We can also partner with the Holy Spirit; we know that He empowers us to live the supernatural lives that God wants us to live. We can do this, we are empowered to do this and God has called us for intimate fellowship with the Father, the Son and His Holy Spirit. What a great thought! Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, we are grateful that you’ve invited us to fellowship with you. We thank you that above all, our fellowship is with you and even the Godhead. We pray that you will continue to equip us in strengthening this relationship and fellowship with you, we honor you for this, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
