Hello friends, so good to join you and study God’s word and glean insights from God’s word to apply in our lives. I want to take sometime to talk about creativity, about creating and what the bible has to say about these things. In Isaiah chapter 40, verses 28 and 29, it says, ‘Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.’ Somethings to note about God are that He indeed is infinite and He indeed is great and majestic because scriptures tell us He is the everlasting God, He is the creator of the ends of the earth and the fact that He never becomes weary, His understanding is unsearchable which tells us that there is no limit to His understanding. He gives power to the weak and He increases people in might. So, those who don’t have might, they receive strength from God. So, just think together with me about who God is. He is so great, He is the creator of the ends of the earth, He is everlasting, He is never weary, His understanding is unsearchable, He has power, He has strength. This is the God we serve! I also want us to quickly look at Jeremiah chapter 10 and verse 12, where we are told that ‘He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom and has stretched out the heavens at His discretion.’ So, God is so capable, He has every ability and He had every ability which was required for the construction or the building up of this universe. We are told that He has power which means that He has the ability, might, force and capacity, He has wisdom which means He was capable of doing things very skillfully with precision. He is also a God who carries discretion that tells us that He is intelligent, He is able to reason and is able to make decision, such is the nature of God. So, it is really encouraging to know that God is intelligent, God is able, God is great. Since we talked about God being the creator, I quickly want to read out some facts for us and how God has created this great universe and the great objects in that universe. It takes 3 days to reach the moon, 7 months to reach the closest planet, Mars; 15 months to reach Venus, 6 years to reach Jupiter, 7 years – Saturn and then all the other planets take much longer than that. To reach the sun, we would take 0.00001581 light years and just to bring things into perspective, the extent of the universe is 93 billion light years and so, this is the God that we are taking about. One who could create everything in a unique and an excellent way with their own properties. So, God is an intelligent creator and He is infinite. He has every ability that you and I need today. Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, thank you for who you are. Lord, thank you for opening up our understanding about your greatness. We pray that you will help us to tap into all of your understanding, wisdom and strength, in Jesus’ name we ask this, Amen.
