Increase More And More (Daily Devotional)

Greetings and a very blessed, happy and prosperous new year to you. We bring greetings to you from all of us here at All People’ Church, all our staff, pastors and the church family. May the Lord richly bless you in 2025 as you journey through this year. May you see God do wonderful things in your life. What we do at the beginning of each year is we listen to God, of course, in preparation for the year and say, what is the word that you want us to highlight to your people who are part of the congregation and those who connect what us from different parts of the world, who listen to these messages, what do you want us to tell them? What is the word you want us to bring each year? We try to capture that in a simple statement so that it is easy to remember and then we give a scripture that communicates the heart of God to us for that year. Something that we can expect, something that God wants us to open our hearts to and receive. For 2025, we have announced the word of the Lord, the Lord will bring increase more and more. I want you to expect increase more and more in all areas of your life, in your spiritual life, in the anointing of God on your life, in the ministry that God has called you to do, in your professional life, life as a student if that’s what you are doing, in your family, financially, in just every area that the Lord will bring increase more and more and that is the God we serve, the God of increase. Not the God who subtracts and takes away but the God who gives us, increases us more and more. The scripture that we want to bring our attention to is Psalm chapter 115, verses 12 to 15, it says, ‘The Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless those who fear the Lord, Both small and great. May the Lord give you increase more and more, You and your children. May you be blessed by the Lord, who made heaven and earth.’ That is the scripture that we bring our attention to. The Lord will bring increase to you more and more. So, expect increase. Go before God and say, I want to see an increase in your anointing on my life, in my ministry, professionally, in finances, in health, in my fruitfulness for your kingdom, in my effectiveness in what I’m doing. Whatever increase means to you, is relevant to you, expect the Lord to bring increase more and more in your life. The blessing of the Lord brings increase. The bible says in Proverbs chapter 10, verse 22, ‘The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.’ When it says, makes one rich, it means it brings increase and richness is dependent on what that means to you. The blessing of the Lord makes one rich and He adds no sorrow with it, He brings increase. The kind of increase that brings joy and not sorrow. That is the kind of increase God wants to bring in our lives. Would you open up your heart and say, God, I want to see an increase. I’m going to position myself; I’m going to work towards it but I’m going to expect it from you and believe you for it because the Lord will bring increase more and more. Let’s pray, Father, even as we believe this word, let faith arise in the hearts of people. Let minds, imaginations and dreams be expanded. Help us to believe you for increase even more for the blessing of the Lord makes one rich. So, let it be God according to your word, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
