Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello everyone, thank you for joining once again. Today, we will talk about planning and the most important aspect after one is done with planning which is to actually work it out or implement the plan. As good as planning is, we can use all the tools that we know of, the techniques, the methods and come up with a grand plan on paper, but if that is not implemented, it is of no use. I just want to encourage us firstly to plan in leading with the Holy Spirit’s guidance but at the same time, do what God is asking us to do. So, implementation is very important. Proverbs chapter 10, verse 4 says, ‘He who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the diligent makes rich.’ There is a time to plan but there is a time to get to work. There is a time to move, a time to start doing what we know to do. We may have this complaint that I haven’t figured everything out, but that is not a problem, we can begin with what we know. The word of God is a lamp to our feet and God shows us, maybe He has just shown us one step ahead but let’s just go ahead with that one step and do what He wants us to do. So, going ahead with the pan, working it out and accomplishing it, implementing it is the next very important, necessary step. Sometimes, we may just be so discouraged, we see this great vision and plan, we maybe overwhelmed and we don’t want to do anything about it but we must extend our faith in times like this because the word of God says that He blesses the work of our hands and if we don’t work, then there is really nothing for God to bless. So, we can give Him something to bless and that is the work of our hands. I want to read for us from Psalm chapter 128, verses 1 and 2, ‘Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways. When you eat the labor of your hands, you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.’ There is something known as the labor of our hands which is the next step after a plan, to really do what God wants us to do and as we do that, we will see the prosperity of God just shine upon our lives. We can again go back to Psalm chapter 1, where it talks about a righteous man who is walking in the ways of the Lord, who is doing the right things and scriptures tell us that whatever he does prospers because he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water yielding fruit in its season. God can cause us to be people like that, that whatever we do will prosper, as we commit ourselves to God and seek Him to plan and also step out boldly and do what God is calling us to do. Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you for the wisdom of your word. We pray that you will strengthen us as we step out with what you have called us to do. We declare that there will be blessing upon the work of our hands. Thank you for your promises, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
