Daily Devotional church in Bangalore
by Ps Nancy Ramya

Hello everyone, trust that you are doing well. We’ve been talking about the importance of planning and sometimes the question arises about what we should do if our plan doesn’t work out. It is a good thing for us to plan and trust God with that plan but it is true that sometimes in life, uncertainties come our way. These things could happen because of certain decisions that we’ve made or they may happen because of some things that others decided for us and so many twist and turns can come along the journey of life. One important point that I just want to leave with us is that though we plan sincerely hearing from God, when things change, we must not be disheartened. There is a wonderful scripture in Romans chapter 8, verses 28 and 37, ‘And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.’ Verse 37 says, ‘Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.’ Whenever we find ourselves, maybe we had all these grand plans and for whatever reason, what we are doing right now and where we are at right now is so different from what we had envisioned. Don’t be discouraged just declare the scripture Romans chapter 8, verse 28 upon your life. God will work it out for our good when we stay in a place of trust. Verse 37 says, we are more than conquerors, though we maybe facing a challenge that we could not foresee, God is still in the boat and He will help us to reach the shore. I just want to remind us of the story of Joseph in the bible. We know that he found himself sold as a slave in a prison but that didn’t stop God from doing what God wanted for Joseph’s life. Of course, Jospeh cooperated and God brought him out as a deliverer and a leader of mighty influence for the people of his time. God can do the same for us, He is the redeemer, restorer God. Don’t be discouraged just because the plans you had put down on paper looks so different from where you are right now. Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you that you are our redeemer, the one who takes away every curse of our lives. You are the kinsmen redeemer of our lives, restoring us, reviving us, refreshing us and bringing us back to that place where we can fulfill the purpose that you have for us. We speak miracles especially in the lives of those who maybe in difficult times right now, we speak blessing and the abundant provision of God, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
