Hello everyone, welcome back. We will continue to focus on creativity and God as a creator and how He wants us to be creative just like Him. Today, I want us to see how amazing God is! God is involved in great and big projects but He is also a God who is involved in making tiny things. He is the God of the great and He is also the God of the small things. Psalm chapter 8, verse 3, it says, ‘When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,’ and then he goes on in verse 4, ‘What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?’ The psalmist is revealing a great God to us, the God who uses His fingers to paint the heavens, He uses His hands to create those heavenly bodies, the moon, the stars and everything else which is suspended in the universe, this God has created and He is a mighty God. We have seen earlier from the book of Psalms, Psalm chapter 33, that God has created these things by the power of His word, from the breath of His mouth. This God is also involved in creating small and intricate things. The psalmist records in Psalm chapter 139, verse 13 and he says, ‘For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.’ God has created the details within each one of us. Today, scientists are excited about the DNA particle and we know that DNA molecule is the genetic fingerprint of every living organism and we are told that this deoxyribonucleic acid or DNA is unique to every living creature, even twins do not have the same DNA and this biological molecule is found in every living thing and the beauty is that all living things contain DNA but the DNA is so different. So, even the tiniest organisms, the bacterium or if you want to look at a huge organism, a blue whale, all of them have in the tiniest component of their body, something programmed that tells them how to grow, what features to have and what sort of a creature to become. This shows us how our God is the God who creates majestic things but He is also the God of precision and great detail and how He has programmed the finest details into us. For us today, I just want us to glorify God, no matter what we see, we might stop at the sight of a sunset over the ocean shore and be amazed by it or we might look at the waterfall and be thrilled by it or we might just look at the face of an innocent baby, just a new born and be amazed by the creativity, the greatness of God because everything speaks of who the creator is. Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you for being a creative God and for making us creative. I pray that more of this will be seen through our lives, we ask for your grace and anointing, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
