Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings and thank you for this privilege to come to through this medium of video and bring God’s word to you and also take a moment to pray with you.

As we go through this week, if there is a need for healing at your end, I just want to encourage you that this week, I want you to expect healings to take place. As you hear the word of God, faith is built and that word will work, God is sending His word to you, expect healing to take place. We are talking about receiving healing through the word of God and how each of us can receive it. Yesterday, we established the fact that there is healing power in the word of God and today we will build upon that. We must learn to see God’s word is like medicine to our whole body. Proverbs chapter 4, verses 20-22, very well know scriptures, the Bible says, ‘My Son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.’ God is saying, pay attention to my word, and incline your ear to my sayings, that means, there can be a lot of noise, opinions and voices and things that are being said to you, around you, but God is inviting us to a place where we pay attention or give predominant attention to the word. We let the voice of His word supersede all other voices. We are inclining our ear to His sayings, that means we are intentionally leaning away and leaning towards His word, so that is a choice we are making. He says don’t let them depart from your eyes, keep them in the midst of your heart, that means let your imaginations also be driven and occupied by my word. Sometimes, our imaginations can be occupied or driven by all the other kinds of things that people tell us, but instead of that, He says, do not let them depart form before your eyes, that means what you are seeing in your mind’s eyes, see the word fulfilled, mediate, and ponder on it, don’t let it depart form your heart. Then God says my word is life, and my word is health to your whole body, to all your flesh, from the crown of your head to the sole of your feet, whatever is there, any sickness, ailment, disease, pain, any problem, His word can bring healing, make it well and give life. So, God is inviting us to receive healing through His word, just like in the natural as we understand, medicine is something you take repeatedly until that medicine has its full effect on your body and you recover. In the same way, we treat the word of God. We take the word of God, sometimes it’s a one dose and the work is done, sometimes it is multiple doses, we keep reading the word, meditating it, paying attention to it, inclining your ear to it, keeping your eyes on that and letting it occupy your heart. Let His word become life and health to your whole body and cause healing to your whole being. Think about this, there is nothing in your body that God’s word cannot heal, absolutely nothing.

Let’s pray, Father, we thank you, that your word is health, life, and healing to our whole body, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
