Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Be not dismayed whatever betide, God will take care of you, Beneath His wings of love abide, God will take care of you. God will take care of you, through every day, all over the way, He will take care of you, God will take care of you.

Yes, God will take care of you and God will take care of us. Hello and welcome to Living Supernaturally. We are doing a series called Songspiration, where we are looking at some of the old songs and hymns that have encouraged us as believers and encouraged the church through the years. This song was written by Civilla and this is the story of how it was written. Dr. Stillman Martin and his wife Civilla were an evangelistic team, who ministered in the early 1900’s in the United States. They travelled and preached, he preached while she sang and led others in singing. One time, their ministry was temporarily put on pause because she fell ill, and Dr. Martin had already committed to a meeting in a nearby church. He had to travel and minister, and he was in two minds whether to go or not and he told his wife, Civillla, I think it is best that I stay and take care of you rather than travel. Their young son who was listening to this conversation, he interrupted and said, don’t you think that if God wants you to preach today, he will take care of mother while you are away? This really inspired and challenged Dr. Martin who said I need to go. So, he left his wife and committed his wife and child to God, he went on to preach at the meeting and came back. While he was away, Civilla sat down and began to write a poem based on the words of her son, who said, God will take care of mother. She wrote this poem; God will take care of you. When Dr. Martin returned form the meeting, he saw that his wife was much better, and she had also written a poem, so he sat down at the reed organ and composed the beautiful tune and set this poem to tune and it was called ‘God will take care of me’. It seems to have been based on Psalms chapter 55, verse 22, ‘Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.’ So, lets sing this together.

God will take care of you, through every day, over all the way, He will take care of you, God will take care of you.

We can pray and say, yes, God will take care of me, whatever be my needs, whatever be the challenges for today, God will take care of me. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you, that you are mindful of us. We thank you that you’ve said, you protect us as the apple of your eye, and you’ve written our names in the palm of your hand. We thank you that you are so faithful to each one of us and you will continue to take care of us today and in the days ahead. We commit our lives and all the challenges, we cast our cares and burdens onto you, for we know you are well able to take care of us, we thank you, in Jesus’s mighty name we pray, Amen.
