Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello and welcome to Living Supernaturally, it is great to meet you. We are doing a series called daily reminders, juts like how we have work to do lists and maybe a checklist if you are a student, some sort of list where you want to make sure you don’t forget anything or even a shopping or grocery list. It will be wonderful if we have a spiritual checklist everyday so to speak and remind ourselves of these things. The psalmist sys in Psalms chapter 103, verses 1 and 2, ‘Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.’ He is reminding himself saying I want to remember and not forget all the benefits that I have in God and what God is to me. Today, our daily reminder is to remember this foundational truth that God wants us, God wants you to be well and God wants you to do well. I want to remind myself that God wants me to be well and God wants me to do well in life. Jeremiah chapter 29 and verse 11, ‘For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.’ These are the thoughts of God towards us, and the Lord very directly says, thoughts of peace and not of evil. So, today remind yourself, I need to remind myself that God has thoughts towards me, He is thinking about me and His thoughts for me are thoughts of peace and not of calamity or evil. He wants me to have a great future and He wants me to have a great hope in Him. In John chapter 10 and verse 10, the Lord Jesus says, ‘The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.’ That is our God, that is the heart of the Lord for us, that we may have life and have it more abundantly. God wants you to be well and to do well in all realms. In Mathew chapter 8, verses 2 and 3, we see this instance where a leper comes to Jesus, worships Him, and asks Him, Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean. So, basically, he was saying, Lord, if it your will, you can heal me, but is it your will? The Lord Jesus put out His hand, touched him and says, I am willing, be cleansed and immediately his leprosy was cleansed. We see that the will of God and the desire of God is for us to be well and to be healed. Remind yourself today that God wants me well and wants me to do well which we see in 3 John and verse 2, ‘Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.’ Shall we pray? Father, we thank you, for this reminder that you want us to be well and you want us to do well and your thoughts, your desires, your plans for us is to give us a hope and a future. God, even as we go out and carry out our responsibilities, we have this in our minds, that you are for us and that you want us to do well and be well, we thank you Lord, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
