Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello and welcome to Living Supernaturally. We hope you are having a great day. We are doing an exciting series called daily reminders. It is a reminder of this simple truth that just like how we have a checklist for our work, our studies, maybe a shopping list, it is good to have a checklist, in other words to be reminded of certain things almost every day. The psalmist says this is Psalms chapter 103 and verse 2, he says, ‘Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.’ In fact, the psalmist is telling himself, bless the Lord and forget not. He is choosing to remind himself to remember the wonderful things that God has done for him, all His benefits. So, today our daily reminder is that we need to remind ourselves and remember that God has given us something wonderful, powerful, He has given us His authority. In Christ, He has given us His authority. Luke chapter 10 and verse 19, the words of the Lord Jesus say, ‘Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.’ What is the Lord saying here? He is saying to His disciples, to the followers of the Lord Jesus, so if you are a follower of the Lord Jesus then it applies to you saying this, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. He is talking about the authority over the powers of darkness, over satan and all his powers, whatever it could be. It says, over all the power of the enemy, I give you the authority to trample upon it, which means to overcome, to dominate over the power of the enemy. Ephesians chapter 2, verses 5 and 6, ‘even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,’ Just imagine this, this is the view, or this is the position and place that we have spiritually, to be able to sit together with Christ in the heavenly places. In Christ, this is the privilege and spiritual authority that we have. The Lord Jesus says is Mark chapter 16, verses 17 and 18, ‘And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”’ The Lord Jesus is giving us His authority, He is delegating this authority and saying, you go and do these wonderful things in my name. This is a reminder for us that God has given us this authority and we need to walk in this kind of authority. God’s desire is that every believer, young and old will choose to walk in this kind of authority and manifest Christ wherever we are. Shall we pray? Father, we thank you for this reminder that you have given us your authority, that we might walk in it, that our choices will be governed by it, that our life will be governed by walking in such a kind of authority. We pray that you will manifest your glory, even as we stand, speak, and declare, reach out, and pray. Lord, let your authority be made manifest in and through our lives, we thank you, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
