Greetings and thank you so much for joining us today and giving us the opportunity to come to you and spend these few moments in the word and prayer. This week, we are talking about sowing and reaping, understanding this principle and learning how to put it to work in our lives. I want to emphasize today that God appoints the harvest for us. In Jeremiah chapter 5, verse 24, he is talking about people who forget God, ‘They do not say in their heart, “Let us now fear the Lord our God, who gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season. He reserves for us the appointed weeks of the harvest.”’ He is saying, remember what God does for us, how He is involved in our lives, how does He work? He gives rain over the seed we have sown, the former and the latter rain, He puts His blessing on our seed, the seed we’ve sown, the work we’ve done and He reserves for us the appointed weeks of harvest, that means God is there to ensure we get the harvest. So, God is on our side, He is the one ensuring that you get your harvest. So, you don’t have to worry or fear that when you sow seed, it is going to be a futile effort, no, there is a God in heaven who makes sure He gives rain upon your land and seed, that is part of His blessing and He makes sure that he reserves for you the appointed weeks of harvest, that means you will get your harvest, your harvest will come back. The book of Ecclesiastes says, we cast a bread upon the waters because soon it shall come back to us, that means you will receive of what you have sown, you will receive the appointed weeks of harvest. God is watching over your harvest and makes sure that those appointed weeks of harvest come into your life. So, you don’t have to worry, doubt, wonder or be anxious if you will receive the harvest? The God of heaven gives rain and He will make sure you receive your harvest. When you employ this principle of sowing and reaping, remember God is the God of the harvest and He is going to make sure your harvest comes back to you. Harvest is always a multiplication. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you that you reserve for us the appointed weeks of harvest. You make sure that we will receive the harvest of all the good things that we’ve sown and you are watching over our harvest. You are the Lord of our harvest and you bring it back a hundred-fold in our lives, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
