A very happy 2022 and a blessed new year to each of you. Thank you for joining us today, January 1st, the beginning of a new year and every year we take a moment is to listen to a word, something that God would want to speak to us, something that He would drop in our hearts and say look, go do this, a word of direction, a word that gives us a sense of what to expect. Now, obviously this is not the only thing God is speaking, everything in the Bible is God's word to us, it is God speaking to us and it is for us. And the Holy Spirit of course is going to speak to each one of us many things, as we journey with Him. But this is one of the things we believe God is speaking and we want to release that over you and in the week ahead, the coming week, the first week of January 2022, we're going to break it down, we're going to spend each day understanding the word of the Lord for 2022. But let me announce the word of the Lord for us on January 1st and for this year 2022, God is announcing, God is speaking to us is simply saying, go take your mountain, go take your mountain. And this is based on Joshua the 14th chapter and we're looking at verses six through 15, we will get into more details in the week ahead of us. But in that passage, we see Caleb saying, give me the mountain and Joshua says, go take it; that mountain that God spoke to him, it was his inheritance, there were giants, things had been delayed, he had to go on a detour, but the time had come for him to go take it, that which was ordained for his life, the moment came for him to go up and take it. And so, I want to encourage you in 2022, go take your mountain, conquer your giants, occupy your inheritance, that which God has put in your heart saying, this is what I want for your life, this is what I want you to go take, go take it in 2022, more on this in the week ahead. Let's pray, Father, we thank you for your word, we thank you that we can draw from your word and I pray for everyone listening that 2022 will be a truly a year where they will go and take what you have ordained for their lives, they will occupy their inheritance, they will drive out the giants and they will possess and come into what you are doing for their lives, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
