Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hi everyone, welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much for this opportunity to spend time in God’s word. This week, we’ve been talking about consecration and we’ve come to the last day of this week. Today, we will talk about fruits of a consecrated life. Daniel chapter 1, verse 8, ‘But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way.’ The story of Daniel is a powerful story of consecration. Daniel was a young man, probably in his teens, he chose to be with God and put God at the center of his life. His goal in life was not success but sanctification. Daniel would not defile himself with the king’s meat and wine. Evidently, the king wanted Daniel to eat things that were prohibited in the Jewish diet. It would have been easy for Danile to just eat those things. It would have been easy for Daniel to do what was told since he was a slave in a foreign land. Surely, God would understand his situation. He found a way to obey God and remain consecrated. The bible tells us there are two types of people, those whose goal in life is success, and those whose goal in life is sanctification. Those whose goal in life is success chase after successes, with hard work and detailed plans. Once they accomplish those plans, they think they have a successful life. On the other hand, those whose goal in life is sanctification cherish their life with God, they build their lives according to God’s word having God as the center of their lives. There are two kinds of lives possible, a consecrated life brings forth much fruit and a life of bearing fruits by our own zeal. When we resolve to live a consecrated life like Daniel having God at the center of our life, we are granted to bear fruits abundantly. We are provided with the knowledge of the Spirit, God gave knowledge and understanding to each one of us. Daniel could interpret dreams and visions. The knowledge of the Spirit means the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. It helps us to get to know God better, hope in God, trust in God and His power. The other fruit of a consecrated life is the favor of God. God allowed the fall of Israel and the captivity of Babylon, yet God raised up Daniel to be the leader of Babylon. How could this be? It was nothing but the providence and favor of God. Daniel wasn’t willing to compromise his standards. God was the center of Daniel’s life. Daniel used his influence, did not waver during hardships and therefore, Daniel saw the fruit of God’s work in his life. When we consecrate our lives to God, we will see the fruit in our lives, we will glorify the Father in heaven. Let us pray, Father, we thank you for this week and for teaching us through this week for living a life that is consecrated to you. I pray that you will continue to break us, melt us, mold us into what you want us to be. We pray that you will help us to walk in holiness, we give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
