Greetings and welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you once again for giving us this opportunity to come together, ponder on God’s word and pray together. Luke chapter 9, verse 60 and 62, ‘“Go and proclaim the kingdom of God.” No one who puts a hand to the plow, and looks back, is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”’ Jesus tells the same here, He says ‘follow me’ to many disciples. He said follow me to Peter who was fishing, He said ‘Leave your net and follow me and I will make you fishers of men’. To another man who lost his father, He says’ come and follow me’. Jesus calls for commitment. No one who puts their hands to the plow, looks back. Jesus asks us to be all in, to invest ourselves fully, no turning back, no second thoughts. Have you made commitments in your life? Relational commitments, family commitments, work commitments? God challenges up front, commit now and commit fully. He wants to make sure that the commitment that we make is a serious commitment. God is not calling us to be rude or to abandon our family members or our loved ones who depend on us, but what He is calling us to do is to be committed wholeheartedly. Jesus has given us all of Himself, to the point that He even died on the cross for us, Jesus expects us to give our best for Him, to do all that we do in our heart, body, mind, and soul, do it with all our strength. Do you hear Him say, ‘follow me’? Let’s pray, Father, we want to thank you, for you have called us. Thank you for the call of God on our lives, we pray that you will teach us to make right choices, even as you have called us, that we will obey as your word declares obedience is better than sacrifice. We thank you for your grace and mercy, for your love that you have poured upon each one of us. We give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
