Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings! and thank you for the opportunity to come your way today and spend a few moments in the word of God. We are talking about God's resurrection power that's made available to all of us who believe, and we want to just understand some aspects of this resurrection power. So, we follow along Paul's writing in his epistle tot eh Ephesians. We've talked about the fact that in chapter one, he says, I want you to know how great this power is, it's the resurrection power, the power that God used to raise Jesus from the dead. In chapter three verse 16, he says that power strengthens your inner person, we saw that yesterday. In that same chapter, Ephesians chapter three verse 20, the apostle Paul says ‘now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.’ Let's connect this back to Ephesians chapter one, he says, the power that's working in us is the same power that God exerted when He raised Jesus from the death, the resurrection power and then here in verse 20 of chapter three, he's saying, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly, that is far greater than anything we can ask or think according to or by His power, that's at work in us. What is the power that's at work in us? It's the resurrection power and by the resurrection power that's at work in us, Paul is saying, God will do much more than what we ask or think. By the resurrection power, He will work in you and through you and for you. So, think about this, the resurrection power that God has made available for you and for me as believers, He's saying by that power that's working through you, I will do much more than what you can ask or think. What is the biggest thing you can ask, what is the biggest thing you can think of that you want God to do maybe in your life, for you or through you? God is saying I will do way beyond that because my resurrection power is working through you. Many of us, we live far short of seeing the expression of God's resurrection power in our lives, but this day, I want to remind you, I want to encourage you that you can think and you can ask as big as you can ever ask or think and God is saying I will do much more by my power that's at work in you. There is enough power and more than enough power, the resurrection power of God, available to work in your life, for your life and through your life to accomplish what's more than what you can ask or think. When we ask and when we think, let us think in terms of what God is able to do by His resurrection power in us and not according to our abilities or resources, but think in terms of resurrection power, I'm going to pray that, I'm going to ask like that, I'm going to think like that, resurrection power that does beyond my highest prayers, hopes and dreams. Let's pray, Father, I ask that today you will inspire each of us to ask and think big because you will do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask or think because of your resurrection power that's working in us, for us and through us. Let us see these things happen, let us be people who will see these things O God, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
