Greetings and thank you for journeying with us throughout this week, as we took time to look at scriptures that will help us overcome guilt, overcome those feelings of shame and condemnation, feelings that make us think that we are unfit, unworthy to love God, to serve God, to be in His presence that we can be completely free from that and have the sense of worth, have the sense of being made righteous, being washed and cleansed and being accepted in love. We want to conclude this week by reminding us that God wants us to enjoy Him as our Father. The Bible tells us in Romans chapter 8, verses 14, 15 and 16, that those of us who are led by the Spirit of God, we are the sons of God and God has not given us the spirit of bondage to fear but He has given us the spirit of adoption by which we cry out Abba Father. To put it plainly, God has not called us to be fearful slaves, cringing slaves but He's called us and He's given us His Holy Spirit, so that we could be sons and daughters, so that we could call him Abba Father, that means He wants us to enjoy the fact that we are His sons and daughters and that He is our Father. So, one of the key things to do in order to be completely free from this feeling of guilt, shame, condemnation, unworthiness and feelings of being unfit and I'm not worthy of these things, is to recognize that God has made you His son and daughter. You are an heir of God, you are a joint heir with Christ and you can call God, Abba Father, He's your Father you're a son and daughter. There is no condemnation, He loves you and embraces you as your Father. So, we can be completely free in His presence as sons and daughters. Enjoy the Father's love, enjoy the fact that you are welcomed, accepted in His family and the Holy Spirit gives you this complete liberty to be free from guilt, shame and condemnation in the Father's presence, embrace that! Let's pray, Father, we thank you for the work of the Spirit in our life, that He fills us with this assurance to call God, Abba Father and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom, freedom in your presence, freedom from guilt, shame and condemnation. I pray for those who have journeyed with us this week, that truly we'll be completely free from every sense of guilt, shame, condemnation and live in that place of knowing we are loved and accepted in your presence, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
