Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings and thank you for this opportunity to come to you and spend these few moments in God’s word and in prayer. This week, we’ve been talking about learning how to release the gift of prophecy or how to prophecy and we are sharing simple instructions on how all of us can do that. God really wants all of us to be vessels that He can use in this manner and God can use you. There is no reason why you should hold yourself back because the Holy Spirit is in you and upon you. We’ve been talking about various steps that we can take in order to minister to other people through the simple gift of prophecy. Today, we want to learn one more instruction which is don’t mix the prophetic word. In 1 Corinthians chapter 13 and verse 9, the apostle Paul says, ‘For we know in part and we prophesy in part.’ In other words, God knows everything, but He only reveals bits and pieces to us. God is omniscient, we are not. Only what He reveals to us, only what he impresses on us, we can speak. When you pray and say, God, are you saying something to a certain person and you listen in your spirit, maybe a word, scripture, or God reveals certain things He wants you to speak to that person. What must we do? Speak that word faithfully. God says that in Jeremiah chapter 23, ‘him who has my word, let him speak my word faithfully.’ So, we must commit ourselves to speaking what He reveals to us faithfully. Don’t add or subtract from it, in the sense share everything that God has put in your heart. The apostle Paul, like we said, he stated, we know in part and we prophecy in part, that means God only reveals few things to us and we speak those few things, we speak the things that He revels. Don’t try and add to that, don’t try to spice up your prophecy, don’t try to unnecessarily add parts that God didn’t give you, it is only going to confuse the other person and make it very difficult for the other person to know what came from God and what is not from God. We must commit ourselves to only prophecy the part or the parts that God ahs given to us. Don’t add or mix other things with it. Sometimes, when you look at the person, you have some impressions, some prejudices, some of your own thoughts, maybe some information you already know about the person, leave all that aside. Only speak the things God has given to you. Just communicate that. We know in part and we prophecy in are and that is all God wants us to do. Let’s do our part! Let’s pray, Father, we thank you that we could be your mouthpieces, that we could speak the things you put in our hearts and reveal to us and that it will bring blessing to those around us and let it just glorify you, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
