Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hi everyone, welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much once again for this opportunity to minister God’s word and spend a few moments in prayer. This week, we have been talking about the commandments that God has placed for each one of us as believers. Today, we will talk about do not steal or kill. Exodus chapter 20, verse 15, You shall not steal.’ This verse is a perfect amplification of Ephesians chapter 4, verse 28, let me read that, ‘Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.’ Stealing is the most blatant form of confiscation, when someone grabs your possessions/ belongings and runs away but confiscation also occurs on a larger scale. Anytime we acquire something of value from its rightful owner without any consent, it is engaging in theft. Misappropriating of resources of funds or personal use of funds is stealing. Profiting or taking advantage of people’s fears, vulnerabilities, people who are powerless and desperate is a form of stealing. Violating patents, copyright and other intellectual properties is stealing. Our God is infinitely rich and not because He stole from anyone else to enrich Himself. Deuteronomy chapter 10, verse 14 says, ‘behold, To the LORD your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.’ He owns the heavens and the earth. As God’s imagine bearers, you and I must work hard, be honest and reflect our creator. By being generous, God will open up the heavens and bless us. God creates all and He shares. He cares about stealing because He cares about His glory. When laziness and selfishness drive us to steal, we forfeit the opportunity to share in God’s righteous character. In Ephesians chapter 4, verse 28, apostle Paul says, ‘stop stealing, work hard, be honest and share.’ Labor can kill looting and honest hard work hinders dishonest gain. We must fight dishonesty with faithful exertion. It is to our benefit that we remember that God is the source of every good gift and all we need to do is ask. The Lord Jesus said, ‘ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door shall be opened.’ What an amazing God! Let us pray, Father, we thank you for what we have learnt today. We pray that we, as your children will walk in integrity, in honor that with all the resources that you have blessed us with, help us to be honest and to know that you are a God who will bless us with every blessing, you will give us more than we can ask, think or imagine by the power of your Holy Spirit that is working in our lives, we give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
