Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Covenant (Daily Devotional)

by Ps Ashish Raichur

Greetings, thank you for the opportunity to come to you today and spend a few moments in the word of God and in prayer. Just to remind us of this week, on the provisions of the cross, we've been looking at several different provisions of the cross and today I want to remind us that Jesus brought us into a covenant with God, through what He did for us on the cross. In Matthew chapter 26, verse 28 as Jesus was getting His disciples ready for what was going to happen on the cross, the Bible says He took the bread, He took the cup, and He said this is my blood of the new covenant which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. So, He was telling them that He was bringing in place a new covenant and of course the new testament has so much to talk to us about this new covenant, that the Lord Jesus brought us into through what He did for us on the cross. Jesus offered His own body as the sacrifice and shed His own blood in order to bring us into a blood covenant relationship with God. Now the bible makes it so clear that blood covenant is the highest form of covenant relationship and the blood covenant that Jesus brought us into is the highest blood covenant that could ever be established because it was established by the blood of the Son of God. It could not have any greater sacrifice to institute a blood covenant. So, we are in this covenant relationship with God and the blood covenant simply means life for life. All of God is available to us and all of ours belongs to God through this covenant relationship. Everything about our relationship with God is wrapped in this blood covenant. God takes blood covenant so seriously that He says, I will not violate this covenant. From God's side, we are assured completely that He is committed, He is faithful to this blood covenant relationship that He has brought us into. From our side, we must understand, God expects all of us to be offered to Him because we are in this blood covenant. But I want to encourage us to see that everything about our relationship with God is based on blood covenant, which is such a solemn covenant that it can never be broken, unless we choose to wander away and walk away from it. Everything about our relationship is wrapped in this covenant and the bible says, this covenant is a better covenant, it's based on better promises, it's a more glorious covenant than what the people had in the Old Testament. So, we are in this powerful, amazing relationship with God that cannot be broken, it has been made possible through the provisions of the cross of Jesus. Let's pray, Father, we thank you for this covenant relationship we have with you. As part of that covenant, you have made yourself available to us, or who you are is ours. Thank you for such a sacred relationship we have with you. It's wrapped in the blood of your own son, Jesus. It's a covenant that you will never break. Help us to walk in this covenant and enjoy the provisions of this covenant, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
