Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello everyone and welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much for this opportunity to come together and meditate and ponder on God’s word and spend a few moments in prayer. This week, we are talking about praise and how God has created us as His children to praise Him through every season and situation. Today, we will talk about continuous praise. Psalm chapter 119, verses 164-168, ‘Seven times a day I praise You, for your righteous laws. Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing can make them stumble. I wait for Your salvation Lord, And I follow Your commands. I obey your statutes; for I love them greatly. I obey Your precepts and Your statutes, for all my ways are known to You.’ In the Bible, the number 7 suggests completion and perfection. As you read, the psalmist reveals that praise is always on his lips, so whether he prays 7 times a day or continually, the psalmist offers a powerful example for us. Praise for God should always be on the tip of our tongue. This psalmist has faced numerous difficulties, yet in each case, even as he languishes under the torments of his adversaries, praise remains on his lips. No, this isn’t the power of positive thinking, it shows that believers who turn to God even in the most desperate situation find peace. God promises that He will never forsake His people. While the psalmist waits on God, he immerses himself deeply into God’s word. In the process, his love for God deepens and grows. So, how can we praise God at all times? Sometimes, it is difficult to praise Him, sometimes we are weak in our bodies, or we are hurt, we are emotionally hurt, our circumstances seem impossible, sometimes we just helplessly watch people we love go through hard times. If we are to praise the Lord at all times, praise must be important. Notice the results that come when we truly praise the Lord continually. Praise sanctifies our lives at all times. Praise also unifies God’s people, one thing we can all do together is praise the Lord. Praise magnifies the Lord, that is why we should do it at all times. Praise ushers in the presence of God. Praise brings God into the scene. Praise opens the gates of heaven and the doors of blessings. Praise dissipates worry and magnifies goodness. Praise is one of the languages of faith. We cannot walk with God without walking in praise. We can’t experience God without experiencing praise. Let us make praise the center of our life. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you for giving us this wonderful opportunity. Lord, your word says that you are worthy of our praises and this is a cry of our heart that praises will continually be on our lips, every moment, even during the hurting times, even during the good times, that we will praise you with all our heart, with all our mind, with all our strength and we thank you for giving us this opportunity, we give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
