Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

For I am building a people of power, and I’m making a people of praise, that will move in this land by my Spirit and will glorify my precious name. So, build your church Lord, make us strong Lord, join our hearts Lord to your Son, make us one Lord, in your Body, in the Kingdom of your Son.
Hello and welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity once again to come your way and spend these few moments in God’s word and prayer. This week, we have been talking about community and the church. We close today talking about community is our home! 2 Corinthians chapter 7, verses 5 through 7, ‘For indeed, when we came to Macedonia, our bodies had no rest, but we were troubled on every side. Outside were conflicts, inside were fears. Nevertheless God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus, and not only by his coming, but also by the consolation with which he was comforted in you, when he told us of your earnest desire, your mourning, your zeal for me, so that I rejoiced even more.’ One of the first few things that come to our mind when we talk about home, home is a place of rest, a safe haven, a comfort zone, a place of love, a dwelling place. We love to be at home- a place where we can truly be ourselves. Whether our home is big or small, whether its fancy or modest, they are our shelters, they are what we call home. Our homes say a lot about us, how we spend our time there, the way we decorate it and what we do inside the home speaks volumes about what we believe. As Christians, our home should be marked for God and reflect Jesus in everything that we do. We all go our separate ways almost every day, so, community is not about being in the same place, at the same time, with the same people, but it is about having a place to belong, a place where they can go to no matter where the world pushes them. A place of community where we can share with each other. The apostle Paul was often on the road and he faced a lot of difficulties at every turn but receiving the gift of Titus’ presence was deeply encouraging for him but even more encouraging was the messages that Titus delivered from the people who cared about apostle Paul who were concerned about his well-being. This is a reminder for us, this reminds us of a supportive, caring community, brings a feeling of great joy and gladness. That is the kind of joy we all need from a community that we can call home. I would like to end with verse from Proverbs chapter 24, verses 3 and 4, ‘By wisdom a house built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.’ The Lord Jesus is building us into a glorious home. Shall we sing that again?

For I am building a people of power, and I’m making a people of praise, that will move in this land by my Spirit and will glorify my precious name. So, build your church Lord, make us strong Lord, join our hearts Lord to your Son, make us one Lord, in your Body, in the Kingdom of your Son.

Let’s pray, Father, we thank you for this wonderful week and for teaching us that we are one in you, we are one in spirit and you are building your church that no matter where we are, you are the foundation, we can look to you, O God. We thank you that you are always with us and will go before us. You are our strength; you are our hope and we just rely on you. We thank you for this time, we give you all the praise and all the glory and honor, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
