Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings and welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to come together, meditate on God’s word and spend a few moments in prayer. This week, we will be talking about being the church. Mathew chapter 7 and verse 7, ‘Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.’ Is community the goal of Christian practice or is it something that is practiced? Koinonia is the source and the end of church’ existence. In a sense, Christian community is provisional, something we experience in the present while we wait for the fullness of Christian fellowship at Christ’ return. Genuine community or koinonia is a blessing of divine origin beyond all human powers to create. The model of church community groups is found in the books of Acts where believers met together in homes to eat, fellowship, and take communion together. They would read the apostles’ letters, discuss them, and challenge each other to keep the faith. The goal is to create community groups that foster discipleship, prayer connection, and accountability. The message of the gospel is for each and everyone of us. Jesus points out in the gospel of Mathew that even a good, earthly father gives his children what they need. How much more then will the Heavenly Father show His love for us when we ask, seek and knock? God, the Father’ perfect love is available to us all the time. As Christ’ representatives here on earth, we are called to share God’s love with each other, we are called to invite others into community with us and with God, our Heavenly Father, who loves us more than we can possibly imagine. As part of Christian community, you and I are called to invite others and to share the love that we have received from God. Christian community is never dull and it is never closed. It is always open, always expanding to share God’s love with others. Though our love may have limits, God’s love is never limited. If you haven’t found a Christian community to be part of, please search for one, seek one that is loving and caring and have the characteristics of what we have been talking about. Here are some of the things we need to do to exercise good Christian community. Devotion to Christian teaching, fellowship and breaking of bread together, continuing in one mind and praising God at all times. Community doesn’t happen by accident, it requires commitment, time, patience, humility, and hard work. Community is for you and for me. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you for the church that you have established here on earth. We thank you for the design of church and you have called each one of us to commune with one another, to build each other up, to exalt each other, to lift up each other, to be there to disciple, mentor and fellowship with each other. Even as we do that as a church community, we pray that you will empower and teach us and lead and guide us, we thank you for this wonderful opportunity to be called your children in the Body of Christ, we give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
