Greetings and welcome to Living Supernaturally, where we take a few moments to meditate on God’s word and pray together. As we come to a close on this week’s study on being chosen, today we will look at being called and set apart. Jeremiah chapter 1, verse 5, ‘“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”’ A prophet is called by God. The initiative of making a prophet rest on God and true prophetic ministry begins with a call from God. Isaiah had a dramatic call in Isaiah chapter 6, and he needed this call to sustain himself through this difficult and challenging ministry. Jeremiah’s call also came to him with a specific word. God chose him when he was a young and the Lord said to him, ‘before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart, I appointed you to eb a prophet to the nations.’ Because of our anointing through the finished work of Jesus Christ, these words of Jeremiah are true to us as well. Not only did God set us apart, but He also commissioned us to go and preach the gospel to the world. God knows where He wants you, when you seek God and draw near to Him, His calling will find you. If you are looking for God’s calling on your life, spend time in God’s word, spend time in worship, ask the Lord for His guidance and direction and you will find your Spirit led calling. Have you heard the Lord’s call upon your life today? Let’s pray, Father, we want to thank you for this entire week, where we could come together and study from your word. We thank you Lord for this identity that you have given us to be your children. Even as we go about doing the things that you have called us to do, help us to walk in authority, help us to walk in this knowing we are your children. We pray a blessing over each one of us, those who are watching, may your grace and mercy abound in our lives, we pray that we will continue to be a channel of your blessing, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
