Greetings, thank you so much for the opportunity to be able to spend a few moments with you, in God's word and prayer and I trust that the devotions this week have encouraged you to expect God's resurrection power at work, in your life, in you, for you and through you. In you to strengthen your inner man, in you to cause things that are beyond what you can ask or think to take place in your life, for you to strengthen you to stand against every wile of the wicked one, you stand as an overcomer, that there's no chance for you to be defeated, no chance for the enemy to gain over you because you are empowered by resurrection power and through you, to see this power working, this power displayed, this power touching other lives. Today as we close, I just want to bring our attention to one more truth considering resurrection power. This is in Romans, the eighth chapter, verse 11 and also, we look at first Corinthians chapter four verse 10 and 11, Paul writes, he says, ‘but if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the God who raised Him from the dead will also quicken your mortal body by His Spirit who is in you.’ Then Paul writes in first Corinthians chapter four verse 10 and 11, he says, ‘though we bear in our body the marks of our Lord Jesus Christ, yet the life of Jesus is made manifest in our body.’ So, think about this, what is Paul saying? When we put all these references together, Paul is saying, the Holy Spirit in you, He's giving life to your body. Of course, our body is mortal, we're not saying our body is immortal, our body is mortal. Of course, our body bears in it the marks of Jesus when we suffer and are persecuted or as he writes there, our outward man is perishing and so on. Of course, the body is perishing, but yet the life of Jesus, the Spirit of God is quickening, giving life to our mortal bodies, so that Paul is saying, the life of Jesus is made manifest in our bodies. Now it's up to you to believe that it's up to you to say, Lord, I want the life of Jesus to be being manifest in my body and I want the life of Jesus to touch every part of my physical body because God quickens my mortal body by His Spirit who dwells in me. If God is doing that, then sickness and disease cannot reside in your mortal body because the life of the Spirit of God will destroy, the life of the Holy Spirit will quicken your mortal body, energize your body to carry out the work of God, to fulfill the work of God. So, if you see sickness and disease trying to attack itself in your body, you say, no God quickens my mortal body by His Spirit who dwells in me and I will fulfill the number of my days, I will live out the course of my life because resurrection power, the life of the Spirit of God, the life of Jesus is given to my mortal body by His Spirit who lives in me. My body is quickened by His spirit who lives in me with resurrection power. That's what you and I must affirm and believe in Jesus’s name. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you, that according to your word, that our bodies are quickened by the Spirit who dwells in us, so that the life of Jesus is made manifest in our mortal bodies. We thank you for resurrection power, resurrection life, touching every cell in our physical body and I speak that for every person, that every cell in their body is touched by resurrection power, we thank you, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
