Hello friends, I trust that you are blessed, meditating on hope. Today, I want us to shift our focus to heavenly things. When we're going through challenges, difficulties, it's very easy for us to develop tunnel vision and to always look at things as a glass half empty. But we have a God who is working on our behalf, and we've been told that we don't belong just to this world, but that we are citizens of heaven. We have a God who is working for us and if God be for us, who can be against us? We must develop a heavenly perspective of our situations and our circumstances. 2 Corinthians chapter four and verse 17, it says ‘for our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.’ What we are experiencing right now in the temporal world, if we don't let it break us, by that I mean, those challenges must not stop us instead, we can learn from those challenges, we can learn more about ourselves from those challenges and keep growing in God and keep moving forward in God. When we make use of even our sorrows and our difficulties, what's happening is that we are progressing with God and not only that, in the eternal we are told that what we are facing right now are just light, momentary afflictions, meaning they are passing away very quickly this phase will be gone and we will be in the next phase, we will be in the next season. But in this phase, God has accomplished something supernatural and eternal for us. An eternal reward has been set aside for us and we must fix our eyes on what God is doing on eternity. I also want us to remember that God knows the big picture. When a weaver is weaving, he knows the full outcome and the design of the cloth that he's putting together, but the threads themselves would never know. In the same way, as we trust God, God is weaving in a beautiful tapestry with His face on it and our lives will reflect His glory, if we just choose to trust Him and trust in the big picture of God and not just look at our small circumstance and say that God is not for us or God has left us. Let's pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you that you're a God will never leave us, you will never forsake us. Lord, even through our difficulty, you're bringing out something beautiful to glorify your name and Lord we commit all things into your hands, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
