Hello and welcome to Living Supernaturally and thank you for joining and giving us an opportunity to study God’s word together with you. As we me meditate on God’s word, we are looking at how we are filled by God and filled with various aspects of Himself so we can be blessed, edified and overflow to touch, influence and impact others’ lives and even circumstances and situations. Today, we are looking at Ephesians chapter 3, it is a passage where we see Paul praying for the Ephesian church and for the believers in Ephesus. This is what he prays in Ephesians chapter 3, verses 14 to 19, ‘For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.’ He is praying something for the church in Ephesus and he is praying all these things one by one and in the end, we see that ‘you may be filled with all the fulness of God.’ This is something he is praying that you may be filled to the top, crammed up, filled in every available space with the fullness of God. This is something amazing and the picture that we have of the fulness is like a ship that is loaded to full capacity, loaded with freight and merchandise and supposed to carry the sailors, crew, soldiers etc. It says that you maybe filled to capacity with the fulness of God Himself which means the character and the nature of God, the power and the goodness of God. Filled with God, His power and His character to fully represent Him wherever He places us so that the character and the power of God maybe expressed through us and flow through us. To fully represent God and to be filed with His fulness to show forth His love, grace, mercy, His compassion, and forgiveness and to minister the healing and deliverance that comes from Him and also the tangible expressions of the gifts of the Spirit to be released/ expressed through us. This is the will and desire of God that we may be filled with His fulness. May we long for that and pray and ask the Lord for that today. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you that your desire is to fill us with your fulness that we may overflow in character, power, with your love and compassion and forgiveness and with all the gifts of your Spirit. Fill us with your Spirit. We pray and ask that you will do this today for your own name’s sake, in Jesus’ matchless name we pray, Amen.
