Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Ambassadors (Daily Devotional)

by Ps Ashish Raichur

Greetings and welcome once again to Living Supernaturally. It is such a joy to come together, spend a few moments in God’s word and pray together. Today, we will be talking about ambassadors of Christ. 2 Corinthians chapter 5, verses 19 through 20, ‘that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.’ An ambassador is an official envoy, a high-ranking diplomat who serves in one nation and he represents one nation to another nation. As priests, serving in Christ’ kingdom, we are God’s ambassadors, we represent Christ wherever we go. This means as ambassadors, you and I represent God. You are an official agent commissioned by God to bring God’s message of reconciliation to the world. As Christians, we are called to use this status to minister to others, the way God leads us. This is an awesome and a humbling task. The world needs ambassadors for Christ today. The world claims that when conflicts or tensions arise, they can’t be repaired so we live in fractured pieces of tensions everywhere, but the word of God says something different. As priests, we have been given the ministry of reconciliation, we are to bring peace and unity everywhere we go in our relationships, in our families, in our workplace. When we seek peace in our relationships, we are being priests. This is needed in this dark and hurting world. Ambassadors must behave respectfully to people who are receiving their message, they are being watched, understand their allegiance is to God first and they are to stand firm in the faith. We must model Jesus and our message is received better when delivered with love. A good ambassador should remember our task is to represent God. We are in the midst of a valiant battle. Paul exhorts us in Ephesians chapter 6, he says, ‘put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s scheme, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against the authorities, against the powers and the principalities of darkness. Are you willing to accept this responsibility of being an ambassador in God’s kingdom? Let’s pray, Father, we thank you for your presence, we thank you for your word, thank you for your leading in our lives. We thank you that you are a God who has called us to be ambassadors to represent you to the people around us. Even as we do that, I pray that you will first teach us to walk in your ways, even as we represent, help us to represent you in an honorable way, in integrity, in power, and authority. We thank you for these wonderful moments, we give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
