Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Shalom and thank you for joining us for our last episode of Living Supernaturally through this week. This week, we have been looking at taking responsibility and to end the series, we are meditating on our accountability towards God. When we looked at this entire week of responsibility, we know that we are like stewards. A steward is one who manages the possessions of another. We are all stewards, God has made each one of us stewards of the resources, abilities and opportunities that He has given us. We are also stewards of the people God has put into our lives. It could be our friends, people we work with, people we live with, people we may even minister to. Paul reminds us that we alone are responsible for our words and our deeds and our conduct of life as we saw. 2 Corinthians chapter 5, verse 10 says, ‘For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in our bodies.’ This verse shows us that one day, each of us will have to give an account to God for the way that we have taken over our responsibilities. Each of us, will give an accountability for how we have managed what God, the Master has given us. When we looked at the parable of the talents in Mathew chapter 25, it is a familiar parable wherein a certain man gives three servants different talents and they were called to give account when he returned. Similarly, we will also be called to give account of how we have administered everything that we have been given, whether it be or time, our money, our abilities, our wisdom, our information, our relationships, our authority or even our responsibility towards the kingdom of God. We will one day give account to the rightful owner of all our possessions, and all that we enjoy today. So, let us take to heart this issue of personal responsibility and make it our primary motive to live a life that is honoring to the Father, in whatever we do. Let us maybe take a stock, an account today of how we live, let’s look back and evaluate and see where do we fall short because one day, we need to stand in front of the Lord to give account. If we are believers in Jesus, we can be sure that we have our status and our salvation sure when we give account. However, we must live in the knowledge that we must all appear before God to give an account of our choices. Each of our work will be assessed and will be rightly rewarded because one day we would like to hear Him say, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.’ Let’s challenge ourselves today to take stock of everything that God has entrusted to us, bring it to order and become responsible as He desires us to be. Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, we know and we acknowledge that one day we will stand in front of you to give account to you. We desire to hear you proclaim and say to us, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.’ For that we pray, that you will empower us and strengthen us in every area of our lives to take responsibility and do it well we ask this all in your name, Amen.
