Greetings and welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to spend a few moments in God’s word and in prayer. Today, we discuss and talk about the great multitude. Revelation chapter 7, verse 9, ‘there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.’ Our text today is from Revelations chapter 7. So many great texts, of course, throughout the bible and in this book and this is one of the great ones, one of the great scenes of triumph, victory and praise. John describes and immense gathering of people standing in front of the Lamb’s throne of heaven, wearing white robes and joyously celebrating with palm branches as they worshiped the Lord God with a loud voice. Who are these multi-ethnic, culturally diverse people from every nation, tribe and language? The answer is given in Revelation chapter 7 and verse 14, ‘These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.’ Scripture leaves no room for doubt. These are the ones saved through faith in Jesus Christ through the great tribulation. This redeemed multitude from all nations, tribes and tongues are those who will worship before the throne and serve Him day and night in His temple and He who sits on the throne will shelter them with His presence. Jesus describes these worshippers as victorious overcomers whom He will make a pillar in the temple of my God. They will live in God’s constant protection and presence. Chapter 6 and 7 both end with the Lamb of God taking centerstage. In chapter 6, He is here to judge. In chapter 7, He is here to guide His people to springs of living water. In Chapter 7, He draws near to come right up to each one of us, right up to our face, wipe away every tear and put an end to every sadness and all the suffering. You and I will see Him. The question is how will we look upon Him now? If you would look upon Him with humility, trust and love, then it will be sight that no ear has ever seen, no heart could ever imagine, when He will draw near to you, wipe away every tear and say, well done, good and faithful servant. What a privilege and joy to hear that from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you so much for your grace, mercy and love that even when we fail you, you are a God who loves us and draws us back to you. We pray that you will direct our paths. Help us to live with you in our hearts, with your plans, purposes in our hearts and minds, to give you all the glory in our life. We thank you for cleansing us and calling us righteous, we give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
