SESSIONS:
Music Production & Songwriting - learn about writing hooks and motifs, creating rhythms and counter melodies, pitch correction, and mixing. We'll also have a live demonstration on music arrangement and production using APC music.
Learn about song ideation, common structures, poetic techniques, rhyming, emotive chords, and harmonic variations. Engage in the power of collaborative songwriting to apply these concepts hands-on.
Short Films - For filmmaking, we'll dive into pre-production essentials like research, script breakdown, storyboarding, casting, and budgeting, using our own short films as examples along with others. There will be a hands-on cinematography segment where we’ll have participants practicing camera techniques, set design, lighting, and sound capture using their phones. Finally, there will be a live demonstration of the post-production process by sharing a computer screen and going over file sorting, editing, colour grading, and exporting.
