The Mighty Name Of Jesus | Part 4: Pray, Worship, Do All Things In His Name

One of the areas where Jesus taught us to use His name is in prayer. He instructed us to ask the Father directly, in His name. He gave us the assurance that when we do this we will receive what we have asked, so that our joy will abound. We are also instructed to lift up our thanks, our praise, our worship in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Whatever we do, every activity, every detail, the Scriptures encourages us to do everything in the name of our Lord Jesus! The Lord Jesus revealed that when two or three gather in His name, He is present there. When we come together as believers in the name of Jesus, whether it is two of us, three of us or many more of us, Jesus is present. When we honor someone because of Jesus name we honor Jesus Himself. Whether it is another disciple, even a little child, or a minister of the Gospel, when we honor them because of Jesus name, we honor the Lord Jesus and the Father.
