Daily Devotional church in Bangalore
by Ps Ashish Raichur

Greetings! and thank you for giving us this opportunity to spend a few moments with you today in the word of God and in prayer. We greatly appreciate this opportunity to be able to speak into your life and be a blessing, this week, we are just reflecting on that announcement that Malachi made, he says, to you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will arise with healing in His wings. We are expecting, we are believing God that He truly will arise, the Sun of righteousness will rise, and His light will break forth in our lives. I want to remind us of what Psalms chapter 34 verse five, what the Psalmist said, he said, ‘They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.’ I want to pronounce that, announce that to you, that as we look to the Lord, that means we turn our eyes away from what we're going through, our situations, our circumstances, our problems, the hardships, the difficulties, we turn our eyes away from it and we look to Him, we intentionally put our gaze on Him; what happens? He said they look to Him and were radiant. That means you can imagine when you turn your eyes towards the light, the light comes on you and you become radiant, you come under that light, things change. So, he says they looked to Him and they became radiant. People saw they are in light, I can see light shining on them, they are full of hope, they are full of life, they are full of expectation, they're full of joy, their demeanor has changed now. Why? Because we are looking to the Lord. They look to the Lord, they became radiant and then it says, and their faces were not ashamed. In other words, they were not left to be shamed. So, I want to let you know that no matter what's going on around you, you and I can turn our faces towards the Lord, and we will become radiant, and we will not be ashamed, we will not be put to shame. God will not let us down, that's the assurance we have. The sun of righteousness will shine, He will arise over our lives. We will be radiant, we will not be put to shame, that's our expectation. Let's pray, Father, today we look to you, we turn our face, our gaze, we turn our eyes, and we turn our attention to you, away from our problems, away from our challenges, away from things that disturb us, and Lord, we have the confidence that we will be radiant, and we will not be ashamed. We are expecting you to do that for us. Thank you, Father, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
