Greetings! and thank you for giving us this opportunity to come to you and spend a few moments in prayer and in the word of God. We are looking at the word of the Lord for 2022 - go take your mountain, conquer your giants, occupy your inheritance. And we're just looking at how Caleb went about doing that in Joshua the 14th chapter verses six through 15 and we're looking at action items from that passage, that we should be taking just as Caleb did in his time to go take our mountain. I want to bring our attention to what we see in Joshua chapter 14 and verse eight where Caleb said that though the elders caused the heart of the people to become discouraged, Caleb said, but I wholly followed the Lord, My God. That's what I want to encourage you and me to do. That's what we need to do in order to go take our mountain. We must wholly follow the Lord, our God. That means all our heart is in this and all our heart is fixed on Him, devoted to Him, faithful to Him, steadfast in Him, settled in Him, so that we are rooted in Him and unshakable. He says, I wholly followed the Lord, my God, meaning God said, go take that mountain. God said, that's for you. I'm following that, I'm not going to let the voice of unbelief, of other people keep me from it, I am anchored in God and because of that, I know I can go and take my mountain and that's what I want to encourage you to do. Wholly follow the Lord your God, put your heart and trust fully in God, knowing that He will help you conquer, to take your mountain, conquer your giants and occupy your inheritance, He'll help you do it. You just wholly follow the Lord. Let’s pray, Father, we resolve today to wholly follow the Lord, our God, fully trusting you, absolutely depend on you, be settled you and know that you will help us take our mountain, conquer our giants, and occupy our inheritance, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
