Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotional for Spirit filled living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotional is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotionals around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all devotions end with a daily prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotional messages are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Welcome everyone, we're so glad you joined us today. We're going to talk about entering the presence of God. Have you ever been excited about having an audience with somebody very, very special? Did they give their attention to you and a listening year to you? Well, think about God, how easy can it be to have an audience with God for Him to hear us out? For Him to respond to our needs, to respond to whatever we have to say? Well, this is what the word of God teaches us, that God has made it so easy for us to enter His presence. Let me read a scripture for us, this is from Hebrews chapter four and verse 16 it says, ‘let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.’ Especially in a time of need, we want to reach out to somebody, isn't it? God's word says that God wants us to enter His presence boldly, to ask Him for whatever it is that we have need for. Just think about the people of the old covenant, it wasn't that easy for them to enter the holy of holies. In fact, God's word says that it was only the high priest who could enter the holy of Holies once a year to perform certain rituals. But here we are on the other side of the cross where God has given us 24/7 access into His presence. There's another passage from Hebrews chapter 10 verses 19-22, it says, ‘therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which he consecrated for us, through the veil, that is His flesh and having a high priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.’ We're also told that God made provisions through His own body and through His own blood. So, now we're able to enter the presence of God because of the cross and because of the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. So, in other words, this is what I want us to know today, that you and I have unhindered access, we have 24/7 access into the presence of God, and we enter God's presence by faith from wherever we are, and God is actually waiting for us, and God is waiting to listen to whatever it is that we have to share with Him. I also want to reiterate for us that we have an opportunity for unbroken communication with God. So, at all times we can tune in to the almighty God of the universe and all this was made possible because of what Jesus has done for us. So, friends, I want us to be encouraged, are you in a place where you want an audience with God? All you have to do is enter His presence because of what the Lord Jesus has done for us on the cross. Shall we pray together? Heavenly Father, we thank you that you have made a way for us to have unhindered access, an unlimited communication with you. This day, we come into your presence boldly and I pray for everyone listening, that you would meet them at that point of need and Lord that you would cause your presence to be made real in their lives. We thank you, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
